# Moon Eclipse

The Moon fully inside the Earth's shadow during a total lunar eclipse. It does not go dark: sunlight bent through the Earth's atmosphere still reaches it, and that atmosphere scatters the blue out of the way, so what arrives is red. Photographed with an Altair Astro 8 inch Ritchey Chretien at 1625mm on a Nikon D750.
