Moon Eclipse Mosaic
Four stages of one total lunar eclipse in a single frame. The grey panel catches the Moon partly covered, the curved edge of the Earth's shadow lying across it; the red panels are totality, where the only light reaching the Moon has been bent through the Earth's atmosphere and stripped of its blue on the way. Photographed with an Altair Astro 8 inch Ritchey Chretien at 1625mm on a Nikon D750.
