Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS
The comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS), which passed 0.39 astronomical units from the Sun travelling backwards relative to the planets. JPL classes its orbit as hyperbolic, so it is leaving the solar system rather than returning.
